Citizens' eye
First of all when i join to the new media class, i did not know that we will have conversations with journalists on skype. When the teacher said i started to be very enthusiastic and excited.
Our journalist was John Coster (managing editor), he told us everything that is importatnt about this group.
This group was established in 2009.
They have 15 volunteers.
The Citizen Reporters, who volunteer their time to report on local even
ts and identify community news stories use the Kona Blue Coffees shop in Highcross.
â022 They aim to provide a professional media outlet for community groups to promote their events and share best practice amongst their peers.
â022 They aim to present the stories and photographs received in a professional and unbiased way, and to accurately represent all communities.
â022 In their portrayal of the people and locations reported, they shall strive to dispel much of the ignorance that erodes community cohesion.
If you join you will set up social media channels, make a short film, take a photo, write a news article, develop broadcast skills and get your voice heard.
You can find out how you can play an active role in reporting on your neighbourhood, ward meetings, charity events and much more.
We can find them everywhere ont he internet, they use Flickr, there are a lot of videos on youtube, and there news enmesh the whole internet.
I think there website is very clear i could find everything that i want.
